StopTech Big Brake Kits
Modern stock brake systems, for the most part, work well for a single 60–0 or 80–0 mph stop, and average daily street driving. However, the typical performance enthusiast will quickly push the stock brake system beyond its capabilities. In addition, other performance modifications such as increased horsepower, and tire and suspension upgrades can also quickly overpower stock brakes.

A StopTech Big Brake Kit provides increased heat capacity to your braking system, which means substantially more resistance to brake fade and caliper distortion with multiple stops from high speeds. A properly balanced brake upgrade from StopTech also results in a firmer pedal due to stronger and stiffer components, as well as better modulation characteristics under threshold braking. StopTech big brake kits are complete and ready to install.

Included in the Big Brake Kit:
  • An aluminum two-, four- or six-piston caliper (depending on application) with pistons sized specifically for the target vehicle preserve balance and ABS compatibility. Calipers are available in red, black, silver, blue, gold or yellow.
  • A pair of race-quality 2-piece floating directional AeroRotors®, pre-assembled to 7075-T6 billet aluminum hats (hats are hard black anodized), with full floating (which allows for rotor expansion due to heat and will virtually eliminate rotor warping) and anti-rattle hardware. Rotors are available slotted, drilled or plain, and with or without anti-corrosion gold zinc coating.
  • A pair of caliper mounting brackets (hard black anodized) with stainless steel mounting studs pre-installed.
  • Stainless steel brake lines that are engineered to be properly and safely routed for each application.
  • A set of street performance pads, which are suitable for both street and light track use such as autocross (1 lap at a time). For more aggressive track use or race use, a high performance pad should be used.
  • All mounting hardware.
  • Illustrated instructions.

Other kits, as well as the individual components, are also available. Call us at 877-443-9088 or email us at info@tcmotorsports.net today to get more information.
