This AKG DTM Shift (Selector) Rod Shift eliminates the free play in your shifter mechanism and increases the precision and positive feel of the shifter. Made of 7075 T6 aluminum alloy, the AKG DTM Shift (Selector) Rod is stronger than 303 stainless steel options currently available.

One of our best sellers! This is the shifter to get when you are looking for that extra tenth of a second. This is the best racing quick shifter on the market and the one we use in our BMW PRO3 cars. This AKG Stage II Quick Shifter has a shorter throw (2.5 inches from first to second gear measured from the top of the shift knob), less play, greater precision, and better feel than the stock E30 shifter. The base plate is made of billet 6061 aluminum, the lever is made of 7075 T6 aluminum alloy, and the shift knob is made of black Delrin. With the AKG Motorsport Quick Shifter, you may replace the bearing-quality bronze bushings when needed without having to replace the entire assembly as with stock shifters. Recommended for racing use only. Fits the BMW E30 318, 323, 325 and M3.
